The members of the research group are also members of the Institute for Transport Law (IDT) of the Universitat Jaume I, the only university research institute in this area in Spain. Created in 2012 as a successor of the then Centre for the Law of International Transport (CEDIT), it is dedicated to study, consulting and training in the field of transport law and offers a quality service based on the immediate and continuous knowledge of all the novelties that occur in the changing world of transport legislation. Since its creation, the Institute has performed research and sought the application of its results in the private sector, mainly in the following areas: - Legal regime of the carrier’s liability - Analysis of the legal regime applicable to passenger and freight transport - Legal regulation of land and air transport - Contracts in the field of maritime navigation - Competition and transport law - Insurance law: transport insurance and liability insurance of the carrier - Transport infrastructure - Postal transport
